A painting of a woman with long dark hair, wearing a white shirt with two bright yellow and red flowers on the chest. She has dark eyes and red lips. The background features a dark sky with three yellow moons, mountains, and green plants with red flowers.

Painting from the body outward

I make paintings where figures and landscapes share the same space – suns, plants, and triangular forms that echo both the mountains and tents of Córdoba, Argentina. I’m interested in how migration, class, and memory leave their mark on a face and on the ground it stands on.

I work in oils, oil stick, and dry pigment, dragging the brush so earlier marks stay present. The paintings sit somewhere between folk icon and dream: direct, material images that leave space for someone else’s story.
